We want you to be happy with our service. Below you will find, briefly and clearly, when you can request the cancellation of an order and a refund, and what happens when a report contains no historical data.
1. How to request cancellation and a refund
As an individual (non-business) customer, you may request the cancellation of a purchase (for example a report) within 30 days of the payment date. Send us an e-mail at [email protected] including the order number, purchase date, your contact details and the reason for the request.
Once we approve the request, we refund the amount within 14 days, using the same payment method.
2. When a refund does not apply
We cannot refund a report that has already been used to check a vehicle's history, nor a multi-report package that has been partially used.
A report is considered used if it includes historical data in any of its sections (mileage/odometer, damage or timeline). In that case, the purchase is no longer eligible for a refund.
3. If the report contains no information
We gather data from a large number of sources across several countries and bring it together in your report. Occasionally, due to incomplete records or errors in the sources, a report may contain little information or none at all.
If the report you purchased contains no historical data about the vehicle, we notify you and automatically add an unused report to your account. You can use it anytime later to check another vehicle.
4. Why a report may be less detailed
- The VIN was entered incorrectly — double-check it and try again.
- Our sources hold no historical data for that vehicle, based on its VIN.
