1. Operator

carinfo.ro and its services are operated by SND TEAM S.R.L., registered office at Str. Mihai Viteazu nr. 260, Sat Șelimbăr, Comuna Șelimbăr, jud. Sibiu, cod poștal 557260, România, Trade Register no. J2018000311325, tax ID 38963245, e-mail [email protected] ("CarInfo", "we" or "the operator").

2. The service

CarInfo provides vehicle history reports (mileage, damage, theft, leasing/liens, listing photos, equipment, technical data and official records), compiled from official sources and partner databases across several countries. Availability and the amount of information vary by vehicle.

3. Informational nature

The information is for guidance only and is based on third-party data. We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy but do not guarantee that data is complete or error-free, as we aggregate rather than produce it. The report is not a technical inspection and does not replace a physical check by a specialist.

4. Orders, pricing and payment

Prices are shown in RON and are final; the operator is a micro-enterprise not registered for VAT, so prices do not include VAT. Payment is made securely online via Stripe (card, Google Pay, Apple Pay). An invoice is issued for each order. The order is confirmed once payment is received.

5. Delivery

The report is generated automatically, usually within seconds after payment, and made available in your account and/or by e-mail, remaining accessible for 30 days. Unused credits from multi-report plans stay in your account.

6. Right of withdrawal

As a rule, distance contracts carry a 14-day right of withdrawal without justification (art. 9 of GEO 34/2014, transposing Directive 2011/83/EU).

However, our service is digital content not supplied on a tangible medium. By placing the order and confirming acceptance, you give your express consent to begin performance immediately and acknowledge that you lose your 14-day right of withdrawal, in accordance with art. 16(m) of GEO 34/2014. If the report cannot be generated due to technical reasons attributable solely to us, you will be fully refunded.

7. Your obligations

• Provide accurate data and a valid VIN.
• Use the service lawfully and per these Terms.
• Not resell, redistribute or publish the report commercially without our written consent.

8. Limitation of liability

The decision to buy a vehicle rests solely with the user. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability shall not exceed the value of the relevant order.

9. Intellectual property

The website content belongs to the operator or its partners. Car brands and logos are the property of their respective owners and are used solely to identify the checked vehicle.

10. Data protection

We process personal data in line with our Privacy Policy and the GDPR (EU Regulation 2016/679).

11. Disputes & applicable law

Disputes are first resolved amicably — write to us at [email protected]. You may also contact the Romanian Consumer Protection Authority (ANPC, Bd. Aviatorilor 72, sector 1, Bucharest 011865; consumer line 021 9551).

You are entitled to Alternative Dispute Resolution (SAL) under Government Ordinance 38/2015 (transposing Directive 2013/11/EU), via the official ANPC platform at reclamatiisal.anpc.ro (info: anpc.ro/ce-este-sal, e-mail [email protected]). The EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform was shut down on 20 July 2025 (Regulation (EU) 2024/3228) and is no longer available.

These Terms are governed by Romanian law and disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the Romanian courts.
