The displacement is divided by 200 cc (rounded up to the next fraction) and multiplied by the bracket rate: 8 lei/200 cc up to 1600 cc, 18 lei from 1601 to 2000 cc, 72 lei from 2001 to 2600 cc, 144 lei from 2601 to 3000 cc and 290 lei above 3000 cc. The final amount is set by your local council and may be higher than the base rate.
